Rochester, NY has been experiencing new wave urban renewal for sometime. Since before the decline of Kodak, black communities have been bought out and shifted from the more desirable of their neighborhoods. Downtown was once a place where we convened and thrived, now it's just waiting for targeted demographics to claim the space for commercial and recreation use. I just hope my people will be welcome in the new developments.
